Ingredients
BASE Peanut butter, oats, and honey make for a great bite that is flavorful and holds its shape well.
ADD-INS I love the combo of pecan/cranberry but add your favorite nuts and dried fruits or even coconut!
CACAO BLISS Cacao Bliss is a superfood mixture that adds a delicious chocolatey flavor but even more importantly, it is packed with powerful nutrients and antioxidants.
What is Cacao Bliss?
CACAO BLISS is a rich and indulgent chocolaty superfood! It is made from raw cacao beans and a blend of ancient superfoods that can make desserts and treats guilt-free.
This blend is nutrient dense and has no artificial sugars, fats, or chemicals as some traditional chocolate does. It is naturally sweetened with healthy sweeteners like monk fruit.
Cacao Bliss is delicious enjoyed as a drink on its own or added to recipes (like this chocolate hummus!) for a healthy, guilt-free chocolate boost!

Variations
- So many variations for this recipe! Add some favorite seeds or nuts like sunflower, pepitas, almonds, pecans, or walnuts.
- Almond or cashew butter can easily be used in place of the peanut butter and don’t forget to add chopped dried fruit like cranberries, raisins, or cherries.
- Add some mini M&Ms for a Monster Energy Ball version!
How to Make Energy Balls
- Add pecans and cranberries to a food processor. Pulse just until slightly chopped.
- Add all remaining ingredients (per recipe below). Pulse until the mixture is combined and holds together.
- Scoop energy balls onto a prepared baking sheet and chill before serving.
PRO TIP: Lightly toast shredded nuts (or coconut if you add it in) in a dry pan until they are barely browned. This burns off the extra oil and makes them crunchy and sweet!
How to Store
Store energy balls in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container and they will last about 7 days. Or, wrap them individually in foil or plastic wrap so they are ready to go!
Frozen energy balls are a great snack on a hot day or after a heavy workout! Freeze them on a baking sheet before putting them in a zippered bag (this keeps them from sticking together). They’ll stay fresh for up to 8 weeks in the freezer.
