Summer is a fantastic time of year! There are so many fun activities, opportunities to gather with friends and loved ones, and so much fresh produce! I love to make use of all the fresh food in season for the recipes I prepare, but really, I would much prefer to be outdoors than in the kitchen!
For as long as I remember, this has been one of those recipes I turn to when I need to prepare something incredible, but I don’t have a lot of time to prep. My crock pot saves the day and does all of the work of cooking up this fresh as can be corn on the cob! I don’t have to worry about watching a boiling pot or draining it. This corn is ready when you are, tender crisp, juicy, sweet and full of flavor.
I love that this corn is already buttered and seasoned when it comes out of the crock pot so that you can dig in immediately to the perfect ear of corn! If you have never considered cooking corn on the cob in the crock pot, let me tell you that it is really the way to go for incredible corn!
